Government of Uttarakhand Released New Guideline For Char Dham
The statement administration from the Government of Uttarakhand has released new guidelines to prevent the spread of the H3N2 sub-variant during the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, as more pilgrims are expected to participate this year. The Minister of Tourism and Public Works, Satpal Maharaj, has urged both residents and visitors to follow the guidelines and take necessary precautions.
According to the Minister, there have been 2,67,434 registrations for Kedarnath and Badrinath, with 1,47,240 for Kedarnath and 1,20,194 for Badrinath. The Tourism Department has been working diligently to make arrangements for the Chardham Yatra, including the booking of guest houses owned by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN), with INR 43,360 worth of bookings completed so far.
It is important for all parties involved to prioritize safety and take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the H3N2 sub-variant during the Chardham Yatra.
