Kuari Pass Trek sometimes called the Lord Curzon Trail is located in the Garhwal Himalaya region of Uttarakhand, India. The Kuari Pass got popular in the year 1905 when the Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon visited and explored it for the first time. Today, Kuari Pass has become the most desired trekking destination amongst trekkers and mountaineers in India soaring at an altitude of 4264 meters.

In this spring season, the temperature ranges from t 37.1'c to 25.2'c at Rishikesh. During the trekking, this campsite adds more than 7 to 5 minutes to reach the highest camp of Joshimath. Moreover, the relatively steady & gradual change in temperature makes it more regular for the climbers to trek n the group.
So the best time to visit in this trek is from the month of Nov-March.

Trek Difficulty level in Kuari Pass Trek

Kuari Pass Trek is one of the highest & the complex trek sites of the Himalayan ranges. One should be very physically fit in this trek, and the stamina should become to justify this trek. If some don't have any experience or are beginners, they are always welcome to walk in pass.
The duration for this trek is just 6-7 days or is almost approximately 33 kilometers from altogether. It would be best if you also came with some steep slopes & the risky edges which cover the mountain with the beauty of the forest. It gets a little bit difficult during winters when the snowfall starts plying its vital part for the trekkers to trek in difficulty.
So it has always been considered that the walk is ready to serve its natural beauty for the trekkers to tour this beautiful place in all of the years.

Physical fitness required

1. As this is the highest trek site with the higher altitude where the air becomes thinner, the presence of the oxygen level decreases, so to justify it, one should be aerobically fit.
2. With the gravity & the long duration of the trek, one should be free of climatic adoption certification.
3. This is purely dependent upon the fitness that if one is spending more time towards his fitness, the result for the trekking will be more suitable.

There are some points which need to be taken under consideration for the trekkers to trek this pass are as follows:

1.Walking: At the most point, the trekkers should walk for 5-6 km on an everyday basis.
2.Stretching: The body flexibility with the regular excise with the free of hands, shoulders, neck, arms, waist & legs helps the trekkers to climb up the mountain quickly.
3.Strength: Aim of building resilience in arms, legs &with the abdominal muscles gives more zeal & enthusiasm to trekkers to trek this beauty of nature.

 

Day 1: Rishikesh - Joshimath, 254km; 10 hr 38 min.

Day 2: Trek from Joshimath to Dhak Gulling Top (Trek 10-12 km) | Dhak to Guling Trek.

Day 3: Trek from Gulling Top to Tali, 11000 feet; 5-6 hours.

Day 4: Trek for Kauri Pass from Tali & then Return to Tali, 12770 feet approx; 16 km.

Day 5: Trek from Tali top - Joshimath via Auli, 9680 feet; 7-8 hours.

Day 6: Joshimath - Rishikesh | End of Tour.

day1

Day 1: Drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath, 254km; 10 hr 38 min.

Switch to refining your day from the beauty of the nature of Rishikesh railway station early by 06:30 a.m. to Joshimath which is almost 254-257 km away from Rishikesh, that takes 10 to 12 hours of journey to reach Joshimath.
In this time, we will come across lots of beautiful confluences of rivers & the marvellous landscapes of mountain & reach to Joshimath.
Joshimath is a spot for people who travel to Badrinath or Hemkund Sahib.

day2

Day 2: Trek from Joshimath to Dhak Gulling Top (Trek 10-12 km) | Dhak to Guling Trek.

Start your new day by implementing as early as possible as it is a land of beauty, so climatic condition plays a very vital role in improving it has breakfast, and we will take you to the drive to reach Dhak village (12 km) with coverage of beautiful mountain this distance approximately 10 km away from the goddess of Joshimath during this drive you will see the mountains looking like the sleeping lady mountain.
We will start your second day from dhak village to reach the culling top, approximately for 4-5 hrs. of the trek.

day3

Day 3: Trek from Gulling Top to Tali, 11000 feet; 5-6 hours.

Start your day in the early morning by exercise and yoga to keep your body warm and healthy to reach at the point where the distance covered by the mountaineers that would be 11000 feet above the sea level the complete trekking distance from the top culling campsite to Tali top campsite is approximate 5 to 7 kilometres with the beauty of vegetation & the absolute beautiful serene of the hills.
On the fine third day, you will come across the last water body point, which you can find at this place as the forest hut. Which is the elevation to 11840 feet high above sea level & then reach to Kuari Pass trek.

day4

Day 4: Trek for Kauri Pass from Tali & then Return to Tali, 12770 feet approx; 16 km.

This would be one of the most challenging days for the trekkers to trekking.
We would be trekking to the Kuari Pass trek, which is approximately 12770 feet above sea level. The Kuari top is covered with beautiful mountains. The oxygen level & the most body part needs proper acclimatization to reach the Tali top campsite.

day5

Day 5: Trek from Tali top to Joshimath via Auli, 9680 feet; 7-8 hours.

After having breakfast, we will trek through the long side of Ganga River, which is the descent of 1 to 1.5 km, which will take us to Tali lake.
This whole trek will pass through different delightful comprising of distant mountain rock peaks & also to add this beauty the beds of beautiful flowers blushing with the lovely surroundings.

day6

Day 6: Drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh | End of Tour.

Now, this is a day where you can decide to end up the trek with a beautiful campsite by resting on that day or driving back by collecting all the memories and reach to Rishikesh.
